Jazz base plans are the default tariffs that govern your call rates when you are not using a bundle. Choosing the right one matters if you make pay-as-you-go calls, because each plan sets a different per-second or per-minute charge.
Jazz Lite is billed per 30 seconds (Rs. 1.80), which suits customers who make many short calls, while Jazz Easy, Jazz Champion, Jazz One and Jazz Budget are billed per 60 seconds (Rs. 3.50) and are better for longer conversations. Because these are default rates rather than bundles, they carry no data or SMS allowance — you simply pay for what you use.
If you mostly make calls without a bundle, pick the plan whose billing increment matches your habits: per-30-second billing rewards short calls, while per-minute billing is simpler for longer ones. You can pair any base plan with separate data, SMS or social add-ons.
Switch your default plan any time using Jazz My Package by dialling *723#, or manage it through the Jazz World app. Check your balance with *111# before making calls.
